CHEVIOT LODGE 150TH ANNIVERSARY – RECONSECRATION

Every 25 years, lodges are ceremoniously reconsecrated by the Grand Lodge. For its 150^th anniversary, a special booklet was prepared with historic statistics, and excerpts from the Lodge minutes which give some idea of the era and mentality in which the lodge operated in the mid 19^th and early 20^th century.  Anything written in the minutes must be understood within the context of the era and may not represent current policy or thinking.
