CPR AED TRAINING

As announced in the Trestleboard, this will confirm the orientation in CPR and using our AED (automatic external defibrillator) Thursday, May 30 at 7PM.

Chris Godfery, Assistant Chief Green Twp Fire & EMS will provide introduction training to those interested in learning the use of AED and CPR equipment.  This basic training will give a familiarity of how to perform CPR, as well as AED usage. It will be very simple and last 30-45 minutes, with ample opportunities for questions and answers. No one will be certified after this meeting.

For those interested in getting certified Chris can explain what is necessary to get certified.  He said at least 3 hours are needed for the certification and there is a cost involved.  This type of training is provided at the Green Township Fire & EMS Department by calling 513-574-0474 and inquiring about openings in the monthly classes, typically held the third Wednesday of each month.
