BROTHER RONALD L GOODFELLOW PASSES
We have been notified of the passing of our Brother Ronald L Goodfellow on Sepetember 21, 2023 at age 92. Services have already been held. At the time of his passing Brother Goodfellow was a 66 year member of our lodge: Born March 17, 1931; Initiated November 16, 1956; Passed December 20, 1956, and Raised January 31. 1957.
Ronald Lee Goodfellow, age 92, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 21, 2023. Born on March 17, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Marilyn Ruth (nee Brunner), his parents Robert and Alcinda Goodfellow and his older brother Robert. He is survived by his daughter Katie (Jim) Gantz, son Scott (Laura) Goodfellow and grandson Erik Robinson Goodfellow.
Ronald (Ron) was a proud graduate of Western Hills High School (1949), The University of Cincinnati (1954) and Xavier University (1960). He was a lifelong active supporter of Pi Kappa Alpha (Alpha Xi) fraternity and Sigma Sigma.
The vast majority of Ron’s career was with Cincinnati Milacron, where he spent over thirty years overseeing aspects of Advertising, Sales and Human Resources. He also enjoyed serving on the boards of The Glenway Loan & Deposit Company and Oak Hills Local School District.
Above all else, Ron valued the people in his life. He treasured the joyful times spent with his family, his life and adventures with Marilyn, watching his children and grandson grow up, rooting on the Reds and Bearcats, and times spent with dear friends from high school, college, and work. He always considered himself fortunate to have so many wonderful memories.
Friends may visit at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington on Friday, September 29th from 12pm to 1:30pm. A private family interment will immediately follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
